This special ready-mix project on Peanut Drive, Hanover, PA was the 1st Penn Dot RCC Pilot Project in the State. This project was roller compacted concrete with asphalt overlay. The use of the RCC was used to strengthen the road’s pavement distress durability. By using RCC, the project duration was shorten, only taking one day to place the full width, which minimized the traffic disruption.
